Broncos OL Quentin Saulsberry arrested in May for DUI

USA TODAY Sports

Quentin Saulsberry's career since graduating from Mississippi State has been checkered: he got a four-game PED suspension last year on the Broncos' practice squad, and now has a DUI to his name.

The Denver Broncos' recent spate of DUI charges apparently extends past the front office: offensive lineman Quentin Saulsberry was charged with DUI in May, and faces an August court date.

Saulsberry, a 6'2, 305-pound center, went undrafted out of Mississippi State last year, and though he was not expected to be a factor for the Broncos, his road to playing time gets even harder with the May 19 arrest. He was cut last August by the Minnesota Vikings at the end of training camp, and spent the entire year on the Broncos' practice squad, serving a four-game suspension for PEDs in December. Ourlads, a site that specializes in depth charts, had Saulsberry listed as the Broncos' fifth-string center, a position that usually merits two roster spots.

Two of the Broncos' personnel executives had already gotten DUIs in recent months: Matt Russell was arrested after an incident where he slammed into a cop car at 40 miles an hour, and Tom Heckert was arrested in early June, only a month after the team hired him.
