Hall was injured on Monday while losing his footing during a drill and as a consequence is wearing an immobilizing boot to keep the ankle steady. Hall says the injury has no real timetable for healing, but more of a day-to-day process. Per the Post:
"I can’t put any pressure on it. It’s kind of funky. I’ve never had this particular injury before," Hall said. "It could take a couple of days, it could take a couple of weeks, so they’re cool with me just sitting down for now and give it time to rest and heal up."
Hall's injury is simply another to add to the long list already hurting the depth of the defense. Defensive end Adam Carriker had knee surgery and could miss the whole year, but is almost certain to miss at least four months.
Last season, Hall tied a career-high with 95 tackles to accompany four interceptions.
