The San Francisco 49ers announced the release of 21 players on Saturday, including five wide receivers, to cut their roster down to the league-mandated 53-player limit prior to the 6 p.m. deadline.
The full list of players released is as follows:

Even after the release of five wide receivers, the 49ers still have five on the roster, including the recently acquired Jonathan Baldwin, who earned a roster spot ahead of veterans Collie, Osgood and Hawkins.
The team also announced the move of Demarcus Dobbs to the reserve/suspended list, meaning he will not count against the team's 53-man roster.
