NFL picks and predictions 2013, Steelers vs. Bengals

Mike DiNovo-USA TODAY Sports

The grudge match between the Bengals and the Steelers is looking like a one-sided affair from the experts' eyes.

The Bengals and Steelers rivalry gets an early start in 2013 as Pittsburgh heads to Cincinnati with both teams searching for their first win of the season. The Bengals led by 11 in the third quarter against the Bears, but Chicago rattled of 14 unanswered points to deny the Bengals a season opening win.

The Steelers will need a much better effort than they gave in Week 1 if they hope to steal a win on the road. The stout Pittsburgh defense held the Titans to 229 yards, but the offense couldn't hold up its end. Ben Roethlisberger was sacked five times as the Steelers gained 195 yards as a team with only 32 yards coming on the ground.

In the eyes of football pundits across the Internet, the Bengals are on a different level than the Steelers right now. Both CBS Sports and ESPN have Cincinnati winning across the board from their experts' picks. The spread favors the Bengals by 7 or 7.5 points, according to, and a few CBS Sports writers don't like that play, with three of nine writers picking the Steelers to beat the spread
