The Texans and Titans battled in a clash of AFC South division rivals in Week 2, but it was Houston that pulled out the victory. While the Texans picked up the win, they may have lost a star player on offense.
Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson left the game in the fourth quarter due to concussion-like symptoms.according to Drew Dougherty of Texans.com. The team did not know the status of Johnson's injury following the Week 2 win, but an update on his condition is expected Monday.
As far as the Titans are concerned, they suffered a blow to their defensive line on Sunday. Titans' defensive tackle Sammie Hill injured his right ankle against the Texans, according to Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean. Hill did not return to the game and was in street close before the end of the contest. The severity of the injury remains uncertain, but an update is expected on Monday.
The Titans will host the Chargers in Week 3 while the Texans will travel to Baltimore to play the Ravens.
