Trent Richardson trade shocks Browns teammates

Trent Richardson's former teammates are reacting to his move to Indianapolis on Twitter.

The Colts and Browns set the NFL world on fire Wednesday night with a blockbuster trade that moves running back Trent Richardson to Indianapolis and a first-round pick to Cleveland. While the first-round pick will likely be welcomed by the Browns' front office in a rebuilding effort, the same may not be said for the Cleveland's current players. Within just an hour of the deal going down, several of Richardson's now-former teammates reacted to the news.

Browns' quarterback and fellow 2012 first-round pick with Richardson, Brandon Weeden, was extremely surprised by the move, as he texted NFL.com's Jeff Darlington with his feelings on the trade:

The immediate reaction to the trade was not just displayed by offensive players, as defensive tackle Phil Taylor and safety T.J. Ward tweeted out their thoughts on the deal:

Current Browns' running back Dion Lewis is still not sure this move is actually happening:

Browns offensive lineman Jason Pinkston mentioned what a crazy business the NFL was, then added:

The Browns travel to Minnesota in Week 3 to face the Vikings at 1 p.m. ET Sunday. The game will be televised on CBS.
