NFL odds and lines, Week 3: Raiders vs. Broncos 2013

Kelley L Cox-USA TODAY Sports

The Broncos are big betting favorites over the Raiders on Monday night, coming off two dominant wins to open the season.

The Denver Broncos are big favorites over the Oakland Raiders in Week 3. They are favored by as many as 16.5 points for Monday night's game in Denver depending on which sports book you consult, according to Odds Shark. Most lines range from 15 to 16 points, which makes the Broncos one of the heaviest favorites in the NFL this weekend.

Only the Seattle Seahawks are favored by more in their matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars this weekend. If you want to know why the projected gaps are so large, just consult SB Nation's latest power rankings. You'll find the Broncos and Seahawks at the top, and the Raiders and Jaguars near the bottom.

The over/under for Broncos-Raiders is 49 points, which would make the Broncos 33-17 victors if they were to push on a 16-point spread and go over. The fact that the Broncos are at home is no doubt playing a role in the eyes of oddsmakers. The Broncos are 4-1 against the spread in their last five games at home.
