Detroit Lions running back Reggie Bush is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Washington Redskins, one week after he took a helmet to the knee in the team's 25-21 loss to the Arizona Cardinals in Week 2. On Wednesday, Bush said he was "optimistic" about playing in Sunday's game.
Joining Bush in the questionable column for the Lions is defensive tackle Nick Fairley, who injured his shoulder in the team's season opener.
For the Redskins, the questionable column has five players, including safety Brandon Meriweather, who came under fire for his tackling in Week 2. Shortly after delivering a helmet-to-helmet blow that sent Eddie Lacy to the locker room, Meriweather suffered a concussion of his own on another helmet-to-helmet collision.
Defensive end Kedric Golston could also be on the sideline for Week 3 after suffering an abdominal injury against the Packers in Week 2.
