The San Francisco 49ers will likely have rookie safety Eric Reid in action on Sunday when they take on the Indianapolis Colts. Reid suffered a concussion in the team's Week 2 contest against the Seattle Seahawks. He's passed his concussion tests thus far and has a final one on Saturday before being cleared to play, and he's listed as questionable on the injury report.
Some other key 49ers players are questionable, including tight end Vernon Davis, defensive end Ray McDonald and running back LaMichael James. Davis and McDonald did some light work on Friday, but only on a side-field and their status is up in the air as game-time decisions. James recently returned to practice after suffering an MCL injury.
For the Colts, the big name is safety LaRon Landry. He's been ruled out with an ankle injury that has kept him out of practice all week. Landry is one of the starters, and the player opposite him, Antoine Bethea, is listed as questionable with a toe injury. Lastly, linebacker Pat Angerer is listed as doubtful with a knee injury.
