Lions vs. Redskins 2013 inactives: Reggie Bush held out by Detroit

Jennifer Hilderbrand-USA TODAY S

The Lions running back wanted to play Sunday, but he'll watch from the sidelines.

The Lions and Redskins will square off in Washington in Week 3. The Lions are coming off a loss against the Cardinals and hope to rebound against the worst run-defense in the league. The Redskins are 0-2 to thanks to their inability to stop the run, so Reggie Bush being out should help them. The Redskins are a bit banged up but will have most of their team ready to go at home after a loss in Week 2 to the Packers. Washington will miss starting tight end Fred Davis and kicker Kai Forbath remains out as well.
