Austin hurt his hamstring while attempting to make a catch out of bounds. He had two catches for 22 yards before leaving with the injury. Austin has 15 catches for 125 yards on the season.
Austin has a history of lingering hamstring problems. He missed six games in 2011 and was bothered by the injury for most of 2012, although he managed to play in all 16 games.
If Austin is unable to return, rookie Terrance Williams could be next up as the No. 2 receiver next to Dez Bryant. Williams recovered from a nightmarish NFL debut to record three catches for 28 yards in Week 2. He has not been targeted yet against the Rams. Jason Witten is Dallas' leading pass catcher in the 31-7 beatdown over St. Louis.
