Colts vs. 49ers 2013 final score: San Francisco loses game, Patrick Willis to injury

Jim Harbaugh turned the Niners around immediately when he arrived in 2011, but he's got his biggest task ahead of him now as they fall to 1-2. For the Colts, Andrew Luck racks up the 13th win of his career.

The 49ers opened the season with a thrilling 34-28 win over the Green Bay Packers, but they have not at all resembled the defending NFC champions since that. After losing 29-3 to the Seahawks in Week 2, San Francisco had an underwhelming performance at home against the Colts on Sunday, losing 27-7.

That puts the 49ers at 1-2 to start the year, the first time that head coach Jim Harbaugh has fallen below .500 in his professional coaching career.

The Colts scored three rushing touchdowns and held 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick to another meager performance.

Injury report

49ers linebacker Patrick Willis left the game in the fourth quarter with a groin injury and did not return.

Running back Ahmad Bradshaw was hurt early in the second quarter, but returned.

Colts defensive lineman Ricky Jean-Francois left the game with a groin injury.
