Jets vs. Titans, NFL odds 2013: Tennessee slight favorites at home

Wesley Hitt

The Titans are currently favored to beat the Jets by at least a field goal.

The Tennessee Titans are 3.5-point favorites to defeat the New York Jets in Week 4, according to OddsShark. The line opened at -6.5 in Tennessee's favor and has since come down considerably, despite being a home game for the Titans. The over/under is set at 39 due to both teams sporting low-scoring, run-first offenses.

Both teams have been playing better than expected and enter this game with 2-1 records. The Titans had a dramatic comeback win over the San Diego Chargers, using a last-minute touchdown to win, 20-17, and cover as 3-point favorites. The Titans are now 2-0-1 against the spread this year, with the perfect cover in Week 3.

The Jets defeated the Buffalo Bills, 27-20, despite a massive amount of penalties. They were favored by 2.5 points and comfortably covered. The Jets are 3-0 against the spread this season. There are no major injuries to report as each team tries to keep pace in its respective division.
