Baltimore Ravens defensive end Arthur Jones is apparently in good spirits after a bout with a scary illness. Jones missed the past few weeks with a viral infection near his heart, but the Baltimore Sun says that the infection is now cleared up.
Jones has been out since the third preseason game with the illness. It initially raised a few concerns, but head coach John Harbaugh said it wasn't anything serious.
The team is looking to ease Jones back into football shape, getting him on an exercise and practice regimen to watch his conditioning.
There is still no timetable for his return, but Jones is in a good mood on social media:

Jones recorded 4.5 sacks, 47 tackles and a forced fumble as a starter for the Ravens last season. Marcus Spears will take his place on the line until he is ready to return.
