In Week One, the four teams in the AFC East all seemed to avoid any serious injuries. Sure, there were the minor bumps and bruises but overall, a solid week of health for all parties involved.
The Buffalo Bills came into the game with a bevy of injuries and added a few more with wide receiver Marquise Goodwin being forced to leave with a hand injury. Linebacker Ron Brooks also left with a foot issue.
In Cleveland, the Miami Dolphins lost corner Dimitri Patterson to a groin injury, although it doesn't appear to be a serious ailment, according to USA Today.
Danny Amendola left the game briefly with a groin injury but returned to play very well against Buffalo, amassing over 100 receiving yards. The New York Jets watched center Nick Mangold leave the field with a arm injury, but finished the game in an 18-17 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
