2014 NFL Draft: Underclassmen join pool in record numbers

Mitch Stringer-USA TODAY Sports

The 2014 NFL Draft has seen a record number of underclassmen throw their respecive hats in the ring. Check out the full list of declarees.

In 2013, a then-record 73 underclassmen declared for the NFL Draft. That record has been smashed, with 96 players declaring for the 2014 draft with eligibility remaining.

This year's class of underclassmen is particularly strong at the offensive skill positions. Names like Teddy Bridgewater, Johnny Manziel, Bishop Sankey and Sammy Watkins should all be off the board relatively early, as well as marquee defensive players such as Jadeveon Clowney, Louis Nix and Ryan Shazier.
