2014 Senior Bowl: Player measurements released

Robert Mayer-USA TODAY Sports

Senior Bowl week kicks off with a flurry of scales and tape measures.

At the end of this week, college football's top seniors will get an opportunity to audition for the NFL in the 2014 Senior Bowl. The game on Saturday is the capstone to a week of practice and evaluation by pro teams, but another significant event was held on Monday: the official measurements.

Latest NFL mock draft: Jadeveon Clowney back on top

As much as performance matters to NFL teams, projection is paramount. The possession of the physical tools considered to be prototypical among pro players can sometimes mean much more than collegiate stat lines. On Monday morning, the available participants of the Senior Bowl marched onto a stage and were measured for height, weight, hand size, arm length and wingspan. While some of those may sound arbitrary, they could very well make the difference for a player when the NFL Draft rolls around in May.

The recorded measurements for each player are listed below.
