There will be extensive pregame coverage of Super Bowl XLVIII and you can find out when and where to watch here.

SB Nation 2014 NFL Playoff Coverage

Following two weeks of build up, Super Bowl Sunday has arrived. Nearly every possible angle and story line has been covered already, but many will be rehashed in the hours leading up to kickoff. That's because there will be extensive pregame Super Bowl coverage, beginning nearly 12 hours before the Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos take the field. NFL Network will kickoff the coverage, beginning at 7 a.m. ET with NFL GameDay First. ESPN will get in the act at 10 a.m. with FOX's 2014 Super Bowl pregame coverage set to begin at 12 p.m.

FOX has the broadcast rights to the game and thus will televise the official pregame show. The pregame show will begin at 2 p.m. and continue for four hours leading up to kickoff at MetLife Stadium. While the show will be similar to the FOX pregame shows during the season, there will be a few added elements. The usual FOX studio crew will be in attendance, led by Curt Menefee, Terry Bradshaw, Howie Long, Michael Strahan and Jimmy Johnson. NFL insider Jay Glazer will also be part of the four-hour show.

No Super Bowl pregame show is ever simple though. In addition to the football coverage, the FOX pregame show will mix in politics and music. President Obama will make an appearance at 4:30 p.m. in an interview with Bill O'Reilly. There will also be musical performances by Phillip Phillips and The Band Perry. The concert will be televised live as part of the NFL Tailgate Party. They won't be the only entertainment though, as the casts of the musicals Jersey Boys and Rock of Ages are also scheduled to perform. The pregame show will lead up to kickoff, but before the ball is put in play, Renee Fleming will sing the national anthem.

In addition to the pregame show, FOX's coverage before Super Bowl XLVIII will include the Road to the Super Bowl and Football America: Our Stories. The Road to the Super Bowl is typically one of the highlights of Super Bowl pregame coverage. The hour-long show produced by NFL Films recaps the best teams, plays and players from the season. That includes plenty of highlights and in-game mic'd up video.

The Super Bowl and some of FOX's pregame coverage will be available online and on mobile devices by accessing FoxSportsGo. Viewers will be able to stream the game for free and without authenticating their cable service. The online streams will be available on the web and on the FoxSportsGo application for Apple devices.

NFL Network will air extensive coverage, beginning with NFL GameDay First. That will lead into the network's pregame show which is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. and run until 5:30 p.m. NFL Gameday Morning will be followed by the debut of A Football Life: Jerry Rice, which will lead up until kickoff.

ESPN will join the fray with a four-hour pregame show of their own, beginning at 10 a.m. and running until 2 p.m.
