Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick is expected to test the free agent market, and there may be a couple of suitors already. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the New York Jets and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are likely to have "some level of interest" in the veteran quarterback.

Vick opened the 2013 season as the Eagles' starter, but he wound up on the bench due to the emergence of Nick Foles. The Eagles would like to bring him back to back up Foles again, but Vick is looking for another starting opportunity, and with Foles entrenched as the starter, he may not get that chance in Philadelphia again. He also turns 34 in June and has a long injury history, but is still the top free agent quarterback in a weak class.

If Vick leaves the Eagles, the Jets seem like the most logical choice given his ties to offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg. The Jets drafted Geno Smith in the second round last year and made him the 2013 starter, but he struggled badly, throwing 21 interceptions to just 12 touchdowns. The Jets remain publicly committed to Smith, but are expected to bring in competition in the offseason.

The Bucs had another rookie quarterback play in 2013, but he seemed to fare much better. Mike Glennon did fine for himself in a dysfunctional locker room, completing 59.4 percent of his passes for 2,608 yards, 19 touchdowns and nine interceptions in 13 games. However, he has a new coaching staff in place, and there's a chance Lovie Smith will want to bring in his guy. Like the Jets, the Bucs are also expected to bring in competition for Glennon.

With the free agency period still far on the horizon, expect these kind of rumors to crank up over the coming months.
