The Seattle Seahawks are thoroughly decimating the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XLVIII, leading 43-8 midway through the fourth quarter. Russell Wilson threw a touchdown pass to Doug Baldwin for the latest score, and it put the game over the point total. Coming into the game, Bovada set the over/under at 47 points. The Seahawks could very well surpass that number on their own, but a late Broncos score gave them a hand.
The Seahawks entered this game as 1 1/2- to 3-point favorites depending on where you look. They have been dominating this game from the first whistle, and will cruise to their first Super Bowl title. The Seahawks currently lead by 37 points, which puts them within range of the biggest victory in Super Bowl history. The San Francisco 49ers defeated the Denver Broncos 55-10 in Super Bowl XXIV. Given the Seahawks-49ers rivalry, you have to wonder if Pete Carroll keeps the pedal to the metal if they have a shot at the record.
