SB Nation 2014 NFL Playoff Coverage

The Seattle Seahawks beat the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XLVIII on Sunday, joining a list of 47 previous winners of what has become the biggest spectacle in American sports. The Super Bowl victory was the first in the franchise's second trip to the title game,

Meanwhile, the Broncos missed a chance at their third Super Bowl title in franchise history, and Peyton Manning's Super Bowl record fell to 1-2 all time. It was also the Broncos fifth Super Bowl loss, but their first since 1990's blowout loss to the 49ers. The two victories occurred in the intervening years, but this was a return to those disappointments of the late 80s.

Below is a complete updated list of the Super Bowl winners after the Seahawks' 43-8 victory.
