Super Bowl XLVIII: Seahawks celebrate championship

The Gatorade is pouring and the confetti is falling.

The Seattle Seahawks dominated the Denver Broncos by the score of 43-8 on Sunday night to grab the first NFL championship in franchise history. Now the celebration is in full swing.

The party started as the final seconds ticked off the clock. The Seahawks players had plenty of time to plan their Gatorade shower of head coach Pete Caroll during the lopsided affair, and they made it count with a solid douse.

That shower was followed by the obligatory downpour of confetti.

At some point, Carroll, Russell Wilson and game MVP Malcolm Smith managed to make it to the podium to get their hands on the Lombardi Trophy.

Afterwards, they all had a brief interview with Michael Strahan. The highlight of this exchange was Strahan making a quip about Wilson looking young enough to get carded at bars.

Then came the exciting moment where Smith received his reward for being named the MVP. In past years, guys have gotten Corvettes and Escalades. This year's prize? A Chevy truck!

Then there were several clips of Seahawks players celebrating with adorable kids.

Bruce Irvin's celebration with this particularly cute kid has even sparked an instant meme.

And last, but not least, MASCOT CONFETTI ANGLES:
