There are three things that are inevitable in life: Death, taxes and fans of the New York Jets booing on draft day. In 1983 there was booing, a lot of it but one Jets' fan believed his team knew best.
In all their wise and sage decisions the Jets decided to take Ken O'Brien to be their future franchise quarterback, leaving Dan Marino on the board. Every team makes mistakes, but this one is a doozie. Sure you can look back on this as hindsight, however even fans in the stands felt Marino was a better QB.
"Obviously the Jets know something the people up here don't"
