The 2014 NFL Draft is here and there are plenty of ways for you to tune in. The first round is set to begin Thursday in prime time, starting at 8 p.m. ET. As usual, the draft will be split up across three days, which will be annoying, even more so this year given the extra two-week wait we had. Don't expect that wait to go away anytime soon, either.
The Houston Texans hold the first overall pick, followed by the St. Louis Rams (from Washington), Jacksonville Jaguars, Cleveland Browns (their first of two picks) and Oakland Raiders to round out the top five. The bottom five includes the Carolina Panthers, New England Patriots, San Francisco 49ers, Denver Broncos and the Super Bowl winners, the Seattle Seahawks in that order.
Television coverage will be on the NFL Network and ESPN, as usual. If you can't watch on TV, you have other options. If you subscribe to ESPN through your TV provider, you can watch the entire thing on WatchESPN. Over at NFL.com, there is NFL Live. It's not a simulcast, or at least it hasn't been in recent years, but there will be coverage of each pick and it is generally caught up with the television broadcast, so you won't be behind. It also has nifty tracking features, so definitely check that out.
