Cordarrelle Patterson had beaten the entire Packers defense on a kickoff return, and was home free for the end zone. Or at least he thought he was.
But from nowhere, Mason Crosby -- yes, Packers kicker Mason Crosby -- emerged, forcing a pivotal fumble.
If Patterson had busted loose for a touchdown, it would've given the Vikings a 27-13 lead with under six minutes left and sealed the NFC North championship. Instead, the Packers got a chance to tie the game in regulation, although they ended up losing.
Crosby has just 21 career tackles in his 9-year NFL career, and no forced fumbles. For an idea of how rare this is, Pro-Football-Reference only finds two forced fumbles by a kicker in NFL history, by Rian Lindell and Shaun Suisham.
