Trent Cole fined, but not suspended
It was never likely that Trent Cole would be suspended for punching Giants' OL Shaun O'Hara and today it became official. Both he and O'Hara were fined and both will play this weekend.

DeSEAN JACKSON leaves you open-mouthed in wonder. It is what he does. He does it with these big plays, enormous plays, game-changers. You would think that opposing defenses would take him away at all costs, but it hasn't happened, not yet. Once or twice a game, they leave him so free that the defender isn't even in the frame of the snapshot.
New York Giants News & Notes: About those playoff chances
Should the Giants fire defensive coordinator Bill Sheridan now in an effort to improve their woeful defense?
When Giants Stadium is ready to come down, maybe DeSean Jackson can serve as the TNT. The Eagles receiver proved he's explosive enough last night.
'Kudos & Wet Willies' review: Giants just could not make enough plays
I can only hope the Giants organization does the right thing and finds the individuals responsible and bans them from attending Giants games. There is absolutely no place for violence against players by fans. It should be not be tolerated here, there, or anywhere.
That has to be the game of the year from an Eagles perspective. It was everything a late season prime time NFC East showdown should have been. Lead changes, crazy bounces, controversy, big plays, some elements... truly epic.
Eagles 45, Giants 38:
Second-half Open Thread. Let's hope we get a few bounces the Giants way this half.
The Eagles enter tonight's showdown having won the last three meetings. A victory would give the Eagles a fourth straight win over their NFC East rivals for the first time since they swept the season series in 2003 and 2004.
