A few Kansas City Chiefs players including Dwayne Bowe, Brandon Flowers and Brandon Carr came onto the field for Monday Night Football wearing red socks and red shoes, which looked different from the rest of their teammates. We knew right away they'd be fined by the uniform police and the league confirmed to me they were.

Kansas City Chiefs QB Matt Cassel didn't get much sleep after the Monday Night Football victory over the San Diego Chargers. He was on the phone with 810 WHB's Border Patrol on Tuesday morning, only a few hours after going to bed from the Chiefs game the night before.
When I was standing by the locker room shortly after the Kansas City Chiefs Monday Night Football victory and heard a loud cheer, I assumed they were giving away game balls to the players. Maybe they were but a few game balls weren't handed out until today.
The Kansas City Chiefs did a lot of really good things against the San Diego Chargers and a couple of near-disastrous things as well. Overall, though, KC played well enough to win (and that Philip Rivers fumble helped, too).
Curtis Brinkley had a big game for the San Diego Chargers, earning the game ball, but couldn't get a win for the Bolts.
