In the Baltimore Ravens 21-7 victory last night over the Atlanta Falcons in the final pre-season game, a few players might have earned themselves roster spots by virtue of their fine play. At the same time, a few others may have ensured themselves that they will be turning in their playbooks when rosters must be cut down to 53 players by Saturday.

Thursday night's dull Atlanta Falcons-Baltimore Ravens game showed fans little of what the teams are capable of. For some Falcons, though, it was the last chance to make an impression.

Despite winning their final pre-season game 21-7 over the Atanta Falcons, the Baltimore Ravens lost their backup QB and if he cannot go in 10 days when they host the Pittsburgh Steelers in the regular season opener, the Ravens will have to scramble to find another backup to starter Joe Flacco.

With reserve QB Tyrod Taylor out of the game with an injury, 3rd stringer Hunter Cantwell has "led" the Baltimore Ravens to a commanding 3-0 lead in the first half of their final pre-season game at the Atlanta Falcons.

While some of the starting players on both sides of the ball on the Baltimore Ravens may play a bit longer than normal, do not expect the key starters to get much more than a sniff of the field tonight in the teams final pre-season tune-up at the Atlanta Falcons.
