  • A tough and intense competitor who could command a double team and plug up the middle. Played hard on every snap and finished well. Extremely solid on his feet. A very good locker room guy.
Flaws
  • Didn't have the ideal frame for the nose position, and had some durability issues (especially later in his career). Wasn't particularly productive as a tackler and rarely got deep penetration in the backfield.
