These two teams last met in the Super Bowl four years ago during the 2007-2008 regular season. After the jump is a list of players who were on both the 2007-2008 and 2011-2012 teams. I've also included the list of Browns players who have survived during the chopping block during that span (hint: it's not very many).

Miami Dolphins left tackle Jake Long officially pulled out of the 2012 Pro Bowl due to his bicep tear today. Long suffered through knee, back, and bicep injuries all year, yet still was named a starter to the exhibition all-star game.

There we go -- some recognition for Cleveland Browns defensive end Jabaal Sheard after all. Sheard was named to the Pro Football Weekly/Professional Football Writers of America All-Rookie Team. He was one of two defensive ends selected, with the other honor obviously going to the Houston Texans' J.J. Watt.

For most of the season, Pro Football Focus had ranked Cleveland Browns defensive end Jabaal Sheard in their top ten slots when it came to the race for "rookie of the year." In fact, for the first few weeks of the regular season, both Sheard and defensive tackle Phil Taylor were near the top five.

For as "beasting" as Joe Thomas is, you can never be certain if the Associated Press panel will vote the right way. As it turns out, they were wise to vote Thomas to the NFL All-Pro team today for the third consecutive season.

Dominant protecting the QB, thanks to rare quickness, overall mobility, and technique for a player with mammoth size. A master with his hands and is never off-balance. Doesn't make many mistakes at all. Very active throughout the play, works hard on and off the field, and is a leader.

Flaws

Could improve a little in run-blocking schemes. Not really the nasty intimidator he could be considering his fantastic skill-set.
