We've been going through all the Kansas City Chiefs free agents today. There are 22 total and I said three of them are must keep players and 10 more are players the Chiefs should keep if it makes sense.

Haley said (via @JoshLooney) that the Chiefs released K Todd Carter and placed OT Ryan O'Callaghan on injured reserve, which puts them at 80 players.

The Kansas City Chiefs offensive line took, by many accounts, a major leap from the 2009 to 2010 seasons. Chiefs head coach Todd Haley commented just today that it may have taken the biggest leap of any position group. That's probably why the Chiefs appear to be heading into the 2011 season with 80 percent of the starting offensive line intact.

Assets

Has superb size and power. Is also a solid tactician who plays with constant intensity and a real edge. Can really plow the field for the rushing game. A true warrior and a team-first type.

Flaws

Not an elite athlete. Often gets overpowered when he tries to manhandle defenders. His lack of lateral mobility and quickness make him a bit of a liability picking up pass rushers.

Career Potential

Starting lineman.
