Leonard Weaver to retire an Eagle
The Eagles announced today that former Pro Bowl FB Leonard Weaver will sign a one day contract to officially retire as a member of the team.

Unfortunately, Weaver was seriously injured on his first carry of the 2010 season, and has been rehabbing since to try to get back into the league. Even more unfortunately, it's not looking good. Via Deadspin:

NFL Network's Jason LaCanfora is reporting that the Eagles have agreed to a 3 year, $10+ million deal with Leonard Weaver.
While the Eagles have yet to publicly offer tenders to their 10 restricted free agents, they have begun negotiating with one in particular. The Eagles have begun talks on a new deal for fullback Leonard Weaver, a league source said.
