Assets
  • A terrific size-speed athlete. Reads plays well, gets a good jump, and covers the whole field. A solid in-the-box run defender who can make plays at the line of scrimmage. Does very well when he's moving forward and can be effective on the safety blitz. Sets up well in zone coverage and can catch the ball. Loves to hit. Has great work habits.
Flaws
  • A straight-line runner who doesn't cut quickly. Doesn't excel in man coverage. Plays the receiver instead of the ball at times. Can get broken down by shifty runners in the open field. Could have used another year in school to improve his tackling fundamentals and football instincts.
Career Potential
  • Very good prospect.
