Assets
  • Tough, hard-working, smashmouth running back who gives a full effort on every play. Has solid straight-line speed. Eckel is a fearless runner who isn't afraid to take the ball inside and lower his shoulder. Also a good blocker.
Flaws
  • Doesn't really have the cut-back moves or raw lateral quickness of a top NFL tailback, and is a bit small for an NFL fullback.
Career Potential
  • Blocking running back / goal-line specialist.
