Texans LB Cushing misses practice again

Houston, TX (Sports Network) - Houston Texans linebacker Brian Cushing missed practice and wide receiver Andre Johnson returned to the field in a limited role on Thursday.
Cushing is dealing with a bothersome foot injury that has kept him out of drills the last two days, but it has not kept him out of a game yet this season. The rookie out of USC has 56 tackles and one interception over seven games in 2009.
Johnson, who appears to be making progress and is expected to play in the team's road game at Buffalo on Sunday, suffered a lung contusion in last weekend's 24-21 win over San Francisco and was listed as day-to-day with the injury.
In addition, defensive end Tim Bulman (ribs) and safety Eugene Wilson (groin) were held out of practice on Thursday. Cornerback Dunta Robinson (hamstring) was a limited participant, while DeMeco Ryans (groin) and defensive end Mario Williams (shoulder) returned to full practice.
