Colts re-sign Giordano

Indianapolis, IN (Sports Network) - The Indianapolis Colts re-signed safety Matt Giordano on Monday.

Giordano, who was an unrestricted free agent, has played four seasons with the Colts after being selected in the fourth round of the 2005 draft out of California.

Last season, he played all 16 games with one start and had career highs with 26 tackles and 13 special teams tackles.

Over his four seasons, Giordano has played in 55 games and has 78 defensive tackles, 34 special teams tackles and three interceptions, including one returned for a touchdown.
