Miami RB Brown hurts ankle

Miami, FL (Sports Network) - Miami Dolphins running back Ronnie Brown left Sunday's 25-23 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after rolling his right ankle late in the third quarter.
Brown was hurt on a running play, when he lost a fumble and after the game was on crutches.
"I just got tackled and I kind of rolled my foot into the inside," said Brown. "They took some X-rays and stuff, but I don't feel like it's too bad. Hopefully everything works out but I feel okay."
The Miami Herald reports the injury will likely keep Brown out for Thursday night's game at Carolina.
"It's tough just coming out of the game. Fortunately, we were able to get a W but it's tough for me because I don't like to be on the sidelines," stated Brown.
So far this season, Brown has a team-leading 648 yards on the ground with eight touchdowns. He had 82 yards and a TD on 12 carries in Sunday's game.
If Brown is sidelined, the bulk of the running game will fall to Ricky Williams, who had 102 yards rushing Sunday.
"It is tough to see a great player like that and the guy that runs our wildcat [offense]," said Dolphins quarterback Chad Henne. "We have great backs in our backfield; Ricky is right by his side in every game in rushing attempts and rushing yards. We feel comfortable with our two back even one guy goes down."
