Jets re-sign Bubba Franks

Florham Park, NJ (Sports Network) - The New York Jets have re-signed tight end Bubba Franks to an undisclosed contract.
Franks joined the Jets last season after spending eight years with Green Bay and had a career-low six catches for 47 yards in eight games. In his final year with the Packers, he caught just 18 passes, then a career-low, for 132 yards with three touchdowns.
In 122 NFL games, including 98 starts, Franks has 262 receptions for 2,347 yards with 32 touchdowns. He earned three Pro Bowl berths in his eight years with Green Bay, which selected him with the 14th overall pick of the 2000 NFL Draft.
