Florham Park, NJ (Sports Network) - New York Jets wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery will not play against the Raiders in Oakland on Sunday, missing his second straight game with a hamstring injury.
"We feel it's best (Cotchery) stays back and rehabs," said head coach Rex Ryan. "We'll hopefully get him 100 percent for next week."
Cotchery has caught 24 passes for 360 yards and a touchdown in five games.
Ryan also said Friday that wide receiver Brad Smith and cornerback Lito Sheppard, both of whom are battling quadriceps injuries, will not play as well.
