Eagles RB Westbrook misses practice again

Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Philadelphia Eagles running back Brian Westbrook sat out practice for the second straight day Thursday after suffering a concussion during Monday's win over the Redskins.
It is currently unknown whether Westbrook will play in Sunday's matchup with the Giants, and the team provided no further update on Thursday as to whether the running back was still feeling the effects of the injury.
Head coach Andy Reid will provide an update on his status in Friday's press conference, which is scheduled for early in the afternoon.
Westbrook is currently going through the standard impact tests for a player with a concussion. Once he passes those tests, he will be able to start exercising. From there, he will be cleared to practice and return to the lineup.
