NHL Draft 2012: Nail Yakupov, Ryan Murray, Alex Galchenyuk Join New Clubs

PITTSBURGH -- The lives of 30 young hockey players will change Friday night. Some of them are watching the first round of the NHL Draft on the edge of their Consol Energy Center seats, but for Nail Yakupov, Ryan Murray and Alex Galchenyuk, the uncertainty of the evening went away pretty quickly.

Yakupov, as expected, was selected first overall by the Edmonton Oilers. Murray went No. 2 overall to the Columbus Blue Jackets and Galchenyuk went third overall to the Montreal Canadiens.
