VIDEO: Alex Ovechkin Gets Hit In The Face With His Teammate's Stick

Alex Ovechkin was just minding his own business. You know, taking a little rest at the end of the bench during the third period of last night's 1-0 Capitals' loss to Atlanta. That is, until Brooks Laich and his stick came along.

It's a little difficult to see in the video, but yes, as Laich positions himself on the bench, his stick hits No. 8 in the face. That clearly didn't feel all that great, and his grimacing there was a cause for concern for Caps fans.

Luckily, he's alright.

If you saw the following clip from last night's game, or caught it afterward, do not worry. Although Alex Ovechkin was inadvertently clipped in the face by a teammate's stick, he was fine after the game.
