Carey Price is still looking for career win No. 100 as the Canadiens try to avoid their worst start in 12 years against the Sabres.
The Montreal Canadiens (1-2-1) are in danger of getting off to their worst start in 12 years and are looking to goaltender Carey Price to help them turn it around. Price, though, has not been very good in his past two attempts for career win No. 100. Price has allowed 10 goals in his past two games.
The good news is he'll be facing a Buffalo Sabres (3-1-0) team that he has played well against in the past. Price is 4-2-3 with a 1.50 GAA against the Sabres since 2009-10.
The Sabres have mostly been riding a balanced scoring attack that has seen them average 3.5 goals per game through their first four. Thomas Vanek, Luke Adam and Drew Stafford each have three goals and seven players have lit the lamp for the Sabres.
Game Date/Time: Tuesday, October 18, 7:30 P.M. ET
Venue: Bell Centre, Montreal, Quebec, Canada
TV: RDS (Regional - Canada), TSN (National - Canada), MSG (Sabres local)
Odds: Sabres -115 to win, Canadiens +115 to win
