The Carolina Hurricanes will pursue their fourth straight win when they face the Blues in St. Louis on Friday. Stellar power play defense and offense has helped spur the Canes' bounce back from three straight losses.
After an 0-2-1 start, the Carolina Hurricanes will go after their fourth straight win when they head to St. Louis on Friday. The Canes have been playing much better on powerplays during their three-game win streak, snuffing out 14-of-15 chances for the opposition. Against the Buffalo Sabres last week, Carolina scored two short-handed goals in a 4-3 victory.
The Blues, meanwhile, are struggling in all facets of their game. The team has given up nine goals over consecutive losses to the Anaheim Ducks and the Los Angeles Kings. The team has been without center Andy McDonald due to a concussion suffered against the Dallas Stars last week, hampering an offense that was shut out Tuesday against the Kings.

TV: FXSO (Hurricanes Local - Raleigh), FOX Midwest (Blues local - St. Louis)
