Los Angeles is 5-4-1 at home, while the Ducks are 2-4-3 on the road. Wednesday night will be the first of six meetings between the two teams. Anaheim won four of the six head-to-head meetings in 2010-11.
The Ducks are struggling, losing seven of their last eight games, including a six-game losing streak that was snapped last Friday with a 4-3 over the Vancouver Canucks. The Ducks have scored just 14 goals over the last eight games, with last year's Hart Memorial Trophy (MVP) winner Corey Perry produced just four points (two goals, two assists) against 21 penalty minutes during that stretch. 41-year-old assistant captain Teemu Selanne leads the Ducks with 15 points.
Los Angeles has rebounded from a five-game losing streak of their own to win two of their last three games. Center Anze Kopitar has seven points over the last five games and leads the team with eight goals and 13 assists for 21 points.
