Ron Wilson was given a one-year extension on his contract as head coach of the Toronto Maple Leafs several weeks ago, and general manager Brian Burke was nice enough to allow Wilson to announce that new extension whenever he so desired.
Well, Wilson announced it, alright. On Twitter. On Christmas morning.

On the surface, it seems innocuous enough, but then you have to consider all the writers who suddenly had to scramble and work on Christmas morning. Wilson, Burke and the Leafs have antagonized reporters in Toronto all year long but this was a whole 'nother level of trolling, forcing reporters to work on Christmas.
Some may find it hilarious. Some may find it in poor taste. All will continue to follow Ron Wilson on Twitter, obviously.
