NHL realignment is a bit confusing for fans, so we can imagine how difficult it is for players to wrap their heads around. It's a radical departure from the norm, with the tried and true two-conference plan going out the window in favor of four smaller conferences. And there's the whole balance thing, with the "East" two pods having 14 total teams -- seven in each pod -- and the "West" having 16 total teams -- eight in each pod.
But if you feel alone and confused, don't be. Philadelphia Flyers goalie Ilya Bryzgalov is right there with you. So when he was asked about realignment, he gave a confused look, asked the reporters to explain, then unleashed the best answer ever.
Video after the jump.
Yes, he said "Yo man. There's much more travel, huh? Damn." Granted, he had no idea what the plan was before being informed of the realignment proposal just before the question, but his answer was just made for Youtube.
