Four points behind the Boston Bruins in the standings, Les Canadiens are looking to better themselves - and to better the Bruins. They'd like to see themselves take over that top position in the conference, instead of languishing in second place.
However, thus far the team is fairly happy with the player personnel that they have. And who can blame them? They did more with less last season. However, this is a team that loves the quick fix, so they might still make a big splash.

Prediction: Les Habs will make a trade if it suits them, but they're going to be picky about it. They think they can do well enough with who they have. So unless a really sweet deal comes their way, watch for the Canadiens to listen for the wooshing noise of the trade deadline flying by.
