TSN Proves That Canadians Are Nuts About The NHL Trade Deadline

TSN is the Canadian equivalent of ESPN and they cover hockey like no other sports outlet out there. Their Tradecentre coverage is proving that with a total of 30 commentators either on set or on location to break down and comment on all of the trades in the NHL. That's right, 30 different talking heads throwing their opinions about all 20 of the trades that are going to happen today. Twenty of those commentators will be on the set spread across four different desks while ten more commentators are stationed across Canada covering all six Canadian teams.

All of this coverage happens starts at 8 a.m. and runs all through the day until 6 p.m. where they just change the name of the show. Twenty talking heads and ten hours of coverage means that everyone will say at least one brilliant thing during the day and one thing that makes you scratch your head. That's the nature of the beast though.

If you thought ESPN's football coverage was on the verge of overkill, you haven't seen anything yet.
