The Bruins have a pretty nice little goalie tandem, don't they?
Behind a not so impressive effort from the Boston bunch in Columbus, Tuukka Rask made 34 saves as they topped the Blue Jackets in the shootout, 3-2. Rask was in net to give Vezina frontrunner Tim Thomas a rest, and really, that's not too bad of an insurance policy.
Grant Clitsome, who might just have the most awkward and hilarious name in hockey, opened the scoring for CBJ in the first period, and after Scottie Upshall gave the Jackets a lead with about eight minutes left, it seemed like victory was imminent.
Enter Rich Peverley, who scored with about five minutes to go to even the score and get the game to overtime. After a scoreless OT, Tyler Seguin score the only goal in the shootout to give the Bruins a win and two points they should feel lucky to have. It kept them on pace with Philly, Washington and Pittsburgh in the East.
